GCET (Goa Common Entrance Test) is managed through Goa’s Directorate of Technical Education, Goa. It is a national-level exam for Goa state. The exam is administered for admission into pharmacy and engineering courses. The authority also allows applications for architectural and medical practices based on NEET and NATA scores. The GCET 2024 Spotround Registration begins in September 2024. The test is held in Goa by Goa’s Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa. Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) is a national-level exam. GCET Exam 2024 Application Form
The authorities have allowed applicants to fill out a GCET application form to the Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, until July 23. Candidates could access the application form for GCET 2024 on the internet from June 21 until June 30. However, applicants could submit their papers after paying the late fees in person at a designated center from July 5 through 16. To take part in the exam and admissions process, candidates must submit their application form before closing. How to fill out online GCET Form 2024
The registration process begins. First, candidates must visit the official website for GCET 2024. Click on the link to register. Candidates must provide an email address and password to sign up on GCET 2024. The verification email will reach the email address registered by the applicants.
Filling out the Form: Following that, the applicants need to complete the application form and their academic, personal, and contact information. The scannable photograph and signature of the applicant as per the guidelines provided by authorities must be uploaded. The preferred exam center needs to be selected by candidates. Fee Payment The fee is required to be paid to applicants in the online mode (net bank account, credit card, or debit credit card). Print out Form Finally; the application form should be printed out and stored to be used in the future.
GCET Exam Centres 2024
Cities where the entrance exam will be conducted, are accessible by visiting the examination centers for GCET 2024. When filling out the application form, applicants must select the city they prefer for their exam. The applicant’s preferences and availability determine the allocation of exam centers.
The GCET Eligibility Criteria 2024
There are specific requirements and criteria that candidates will need to satisfy to be admitted to the institutes of the State. These requirements will be the eligibility criteria for GCET 2024. If candidates find themselves ineligible and are not eligible, they will be excluded from the admissions process.
Nationality: Must belong to Indian nationality. The exception is that Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), PIO, and OCI candidates are also admitted if they meet the requirements.
Age Limit: There’s no age limit for GCET 2024.
Academic Qualification: Candidates must pass a 10+2 (or equivalent) exam from Goa Board, CBSE, or any comparable board. The candidates should have also studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the following – Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology. Students who have completed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology can also apply for GCET 2024. Marks required General Category candidates to score a minimum of 45 marks. For SC/ST/OBC applicants, The minimum impact that must be achieved is 40%.
Answer Key GCET Exam 2024
The GCET 2024 Answer Key will be available in August 2024 online. The answer key for each different paper will be released separately. Answer key will include the answers to all questions in the paper. Candidates are also able to contest the answer key using sufficient evidence. In the beginning, authorities will issue a preliminary answer key and the final answer key. After the final answer key is released, no further challenge can be considered later.
GCET Exam 2024 Result
The GCET Results will be available on the 3rd of August 2024. It will be available on the DTE site via internet mode and the DTE’s notice board. Authority releases merit lists for all offered courses based on GCET scores. Candidates must log in with their login credentials to verify their scores. Scorecards are not individually given to candidates. The merit lists are made to be used for every course. Based on merit lists, students are shortlisted for counseling rounds.
GCE 2024 Counselling
The GCET 2024 counseling process will be started after the declaration of results. All qualified applicants must take part in the counseling process. The process begins on 10th August 2024 through online mode. After submitting the admission form, the candidates will be invited to attend a counselling session. Candidates are also required to bring original documents and photos to verify the submission. Candidates are admitted based on the marks they scored during the GCET examination. Final admission is available to applicants after payment of a fee.
