Eligibility Criteria Indian Army JAG 2024
Nationality
The candidate must have the following qualifications: (i) A citizen of India or (ii) Subject from Nepal, (iii) A person who is of Indian origin, who has migrated into Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intent of settling permanently in India if an applicant who falls within the categories (ii) or (iii) above are an individual for whom the certificate of eligibility was granted through the Government of India. Nevertheless, the certificate of eligibility is not required for those who are Gorkha people of Nepal.

Educational Qualification
Minimum marks of 55% of LLB degree (three years of professional experience following completion or 5 years post the 10+2 exam). Candidates must register as advocates in the Bar Council of India or State. The Bar Council of India must recognize candidates from an accredited university or college.
